This month, we picked "sewing" out of our monthly family learning jar. So, I had Andur and Natalie draw up their own patterns for something they wanted to make, then we cut them out, traced them on material, cut that out, worked up the details, they did some stuffing and sewing and here's the results:
Pac-Man and Clyde. The picture's goofy because they were being silly and it was all I could do to even get them to both face me at the same time for a quick picture.
We're hoping to create a family quilted wall-hanging, so hopefully we can get on that, soon.

Just an FYI, this is the abacus we have. The beads slide super easily and it's nice for regroupings in five and ten when they get older.
