Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our 10 years of successful marriage. Successful because we've survived so many things together and are stronger (or something) because of it. (I think we both know no one else would tolerate us so we just stick together - LOL)
Ten things we've survived in the past ten years:
2000 - August 25th got married.
2001 - First pregnancy/child. Diabetes added to that fun. Lived with in-laws. (We all survived that!)
2002 - Matt got his degree!
2003 - Second child born in different state while traveling. Almost died. Good times.
2004 - Loved the state where child two was born so much we decided to move there. Aaah, I miss Washington!
2005 - Didn't happen this year, but survived four lay-offs, leading us to this move to a different state.
2006 - Move to the land of opportunity. That's pretty much all Wyoming has to offer. First child starts pre-K.
2007 - Lost job, lost possible house. Get new, better job, get better house. Child one starts kindergarten, child two starts pre-K, misscarriage of unexpected/non-tried-for pregnancy.
2008 - Find out we're pregnant. Again. Didn't even have to try. Again.
2009 - Added child number three to the fam. He cried for 4 months straight. Bought best house ever.
2010 - Still have a job, still have a house, both kids are successful in school, third is a punk but cute.
And we're going to live happily ever after. ;)
