In the moments of peace and solitude...
BAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Who'm I kidding?? I have four kids!
But, in those moments when one is asleep and the rest are outside for forced summer-ruining playtime, that's when I feel like writing about the rest of the time; the crazy parts.
Speaking of crazy, I've been exercising M-F since the end of May. Jazzercise, baby!
It's fun and makes me feel good about myself, but I'm not seeing results. At least the scale isn't.
I feel like maybe I'm possibly losing inches, but I never took measurements. Wish I did. I'm feeling rather frustrated.
I'm going to keep going, though. Afterall, I'm paid through the end of August. ;)
I have to wonder what midlife crisis feels like and what age it typically hits: I feel like I'm in it.
I've been doing a lot of soul-searching, lately, and having the goal to be able to look back with no regrets is hitting home.
I want my kids to know me. I want them to see me as a person, not just their mom. I want them to see who I am.
I've been trying to be more involved in my own life, with my kids, with my marriage. I found myself trying to escape all the time, either into a book or my latest favorite on Netflix. I don't like that. Even now, I'm thinking I've been on the computer for WAY too long.
So, I'm going to call this good, for now. :)
